Akar Lima is a new eco and sustainable B&B in Kulim, Kedah. We provide rooms to stay, space for events and dining experience in an establishment that is peaceful and green. We raise chickens and ducks on site and grow our own veges and fruits. Come!
- The Space
- Akar Lima Eco Stay offers a peaceful, quiet and green retreat for guests to rejuvenate and escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
- Guest Access
- Guest will have access to the whole house, making it a home away from home. This includes:
* Living room space with books, dvds and boardgames
* Dining room with an attached pantry with free tea and coffee
* Vegetable and herb garden where guest can learn and tend
* Chickens and ducks enclosure where guests can help feed the animals
* If guest would like to use the kitchen, its possible with prior arrangements.
* The only area off limits the the living space of the hosts which is separated. - Interaction with Guests
- We live on site and will be there 24/7 to help and assist. Plus, we would love to have our guest come along with us to the market and see what our day to day lives are like and maybe even participate.
- The Neighborhood
- Akar Lima is pretty much in an old village area where most of the residents have lived for decades. Its a safe and quiet place to have a walk or cycle around. Residents know each other and visit each other often.
- Getting around
- Unfortunately there are no buses in and out of the village area, but taxis are available on call or from the bus station. Akar Lima also offers bicycle for hire as well motorbikes for those with proper licence
